  1. How long will it take to get everything done?

Standard turnaround times (applies to ALL jobs including photo shoots and events)

Fast Services – You receive your retouched images within 3 – 4 working days with a prompt delivery via FTP or mail service.

If you have 2 or 3 different batches for wedding photos, please add 3 extra days per wedding to the total turnaround time frame. Example, 3 – 4 days for one wedding edit + 3 days for each additional wedding edit.

We have a huge influx of projects every week. Therefore, if a project is received after 12PM CST, its starting time will commence promptly at 9AM CST the following business day. (This policy typically applies to the busy summer and fall seasons and does not usually affect the normal turnaround times)

  1. How does pricing work?

All of our prices are in US Dollars.

  • I – Culling and Color Correction

Let’s say you have 1000 wedding photos. 700 of them will need to be selected and edited.

You select order form – “Cull 26 – 35% and Color Correct 65 – 74% ($0.15)”

650 – 740 photos will remain and be color corrected while 260 to 350 will be gotten rid of.
You will be charged $0.16 for every photo that you initially send us. Therefore, the total will be

$0.16 x 1000 photos = $150

  • II – Color Correction Only

Let’s say you have 1000 wedding photos and would like them all to be color corrected.

You select order form – “Color Correction ($0.16)”

You will be charged per photo sent. Therefore, the total will be $0.19 x 1000 photos = $160

 

  1. I need help right NOW! How much are your RUSH services?

There are times when you may need faster assistance from us. Well, we’re here to deliver!

There are surcharges on RUSH services which are added to the normal fee charged for file editing and retouching.

Level 1 RUSH – $25 – I need it FASTER

Wedding Job: 2-3 business days

Level 2 RUSH – $50 – I need it FASTEST

Wedding Job: 1-2 business days

  1. How do I send you the photos?

We use SFTP to transfer files between us and our customers. You will use a SFTP file transfer manager, like FileZilla, to send us your photos and to download the edited ones. It is FREE and very easy to use and setup.

Once you have created your account on our website, we will promptly respond with the details on setting up your FREE SFTP account and we will walk you through the entire process.

If you need more hands on assistance, we can connect to your computer personally and do the setup for you, no matter where you are in the world.

  1. I want to submit 10 test photos for free editing, what do I do?

Send us your photos to …. We happily accept 5 – 10 photos for free editing. Our aim is to show you what Luna Photo Retouching can do to help your business, by giving you the time you save, with us doing the editing for you.

  1. Do you have minimums?

You can submit as many or as few images as you like. However, we have a $25 minimum spend per order. For further clarification on this, please feel free to contact us.

  1. What is your Cull service procedure?

Our Cull service is one of our most popular additional services! The cost for this service is based on the total number of images submitted. This is because our editing staff views each and every photo up to three times. We do this to ensure that we capture the best story, flow and content for your event.

When culling photos, we consider: closed eyes, out of focus images, unrecoverable images, duplicate images, weird expressions, incorrect exposure, poor compositions, shaky camera, people in the background and so on.

We are highly skilled in Wedding Pro and this is where we show our true magic. You can trust our team to make the best choices possible when it comes to your concerns about selecting the BEST images based on your submissions.

  1. What does the Color Correction service involve?

Our Style Match Color Correction service ensures that every single photo that you submit is color corrected in accordance to your samples. We guarantee consistency and accuracy. In order to match your samples, we may adjust: exposure, light balance, tonal range, color temperature and tint, highlights and shadow, contrast, saturation and vibrance.

We do not use any ‘batch’ color processing or presets. We correct each image individually and benchmark them against your chosen color profile. This allows us to deliver great images that are consistent, regardless of the varying lighting situations that occur throughout your photographed event.

  1. How and when do I pay my invoices?

We run a verified PayPal merchant account that handles all invoicing. Once a project is received, it is entered into our editing system. We then review the project and count the number of photos that are uploaded. Once this has been done, we generate your invoice.

We kindly ask the invoice to be paid before we start editing but our one-time contract ensures our dedication to the seriousness of our business.

Once a job is complete, all emails and other correspondence is generated by Luna Photo Retouch to the client receiving the files.
